The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 3,200 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 53 trips to carry that many people.

I have recently taken up a commission for Latitude 53, an Edmonton non-profit artist run center, to develop promotional material for their annual event The Fine Art of Schmoozy. The event will take place in early December, and I am to design a promotional poster, tickets, newspaper and online ads among other things which the event requires. I have also just moved to Vancouver, and still in the process of unpacking, so I’m only posting black&white sketches done for the poster; the first two are probably the most successful ones and that is the direction I will take. Speaking of changing locations, now that most of the hassle of moving is over, I am eagerly looking for a job in Vancouver as an illustrator or graphic designer. If you’re interested in employing me for a commission, contract, or full-time position, feel free to contact me.

A fundraiser show, which was recently organized by the SDA (student design association), had an amazing selection of longboards for sale. These were made and painted/printed/decorated by students, about fifteen boards in total, and one of those was mine! Have a look
